The Judge
2019, resin and mirror acrylic, 6”x8”x3” for each
The Judge explores the negative impact of societal bias on self-perception, inspired by my childhood experiences of being judged for my body shape. Transparent "faces" face each other, with mirrors behind their eyes reflecting only themselves. This setup symbolizes the self-projection and closed nature of stereotypes, inviting reflection on prejudice and its effects on identity.
