"Calendar 2020" is a project born during the pandemic when limited materials and conditions led me to experiment with photography. One day, I accidentally used expired instant film and captured an image where the chemical crystallization was unexpectedly beautiful. I couldn't bring myself to discard it, as I felt that even though the film couldn't develop properly, it still recorded the moment and its story. These expired films, with their unique time-stamped memories, made photography more intriguing to me. Inspired by this, I began using expired films from different periods to document daily life, arranging the results into a calendar format to represent the passage of time.
